BOVAS Group Launches New Mega Fuel Retail Station in Abuja

BOVAS Group, one of the leading oil and gas companies in Nigeria, commissions an ultra-modern mega fuel retail station in Abuja.


A truly remarkable Mega Station
The station, located along the Airport Road in Lugbe, adjacent to the Legislative Institute and few metres from ShopRite, is at a prime spot that does not go unnoticed. It is amongst the largest and most modern mega stations, with a capacity of over 300,000 litres of fuel and upgradable capacity of 100,000 litres of LPG.

It boasts of 24 dedicated pumps for PMS, 4 for AGO, 4 for DPK, 2 for Auto Gas and 4 for LPG, a convenience store, a car wash, a lubebay, restrooms and facility for a restaurant. The Managing Director, Dr. (Mrs) Victoria A. Samson arrived at the station to welcome dignitaries.

Arrival of Guests
The commissioning ceremony was attended by various dignitaries in the Oil & Gas industry, Royal fathers, Clergymen, Head of the Community, representatives from the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB), Security officials from The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service (FFS) and a host of others. The Managing Director of BOVAS Group, Dr. (Mrs.) Victoria A. Samson, gave an address about the company’s vision, mission, and values, as well as its intention to always put people’s wellbeing in the communities they operate at the forefront.

Community Service
The Royal Father of the day from Niger state, who flew in to attend the commissioning expressed his appreciation to the Managing Director and the company for their integrity and fair pricing at all times. He invited the company to come and have her footprint in Niger state promising them that they will be given access to any land they desire so as to support their meritorious works across the country.

Also, the community head applauded the kind gesture of the company for the donation of a garbage truck as part of its corporate social responsibility. He said that the truck will help to keep the environment clean and healthy, and also create employment opportunities for some youths. He also appreciated the company for the presence of security officials patrolling the axis at night times. He urged the community to cooperate with the company and support its activities.

The Grand Commissioning
The commissioning ceremony was followed by a tour of the station and a cutting of ribbons by some Clergymen and the Royal Father of the day. The guests were also treated to a lunch after the commissioning. The Managing Director also appreciated all who came for the event and encouraged the new staff to put in their best and that they will be adequately rewarded for their efforts.


Rendering better services to our Communities
The station was then opened to the public, who were welcomed with free fuel coupons and souvenirs. The new mega gas station is expected to boost the supply and availability of petroleum products in Abuja and its environs, as well as provide quality service and convenience to customers.
