BOVAS Launches the Biggest Lubricants Plant in West Africa
It was indeed a delightful day as BOVAS unveiled the largest lubricant plant in West Africa, having an initial capacity of 40 million litres turnover annually at inception. The Plant boasts of modern and state-of-the-art safety and operational equipment to enhance productivity and to blend the finest oils in the entire West-African sub region.
It was a beautiful day with light showers of rain and sunshine bringing a feeling of calmness in the air before the arrival of the management, staff and guests. The event was graced by various dignitaries who commended BOVAS Group for such a laudable project.
Above and below are are some highlights of the day. Praises were rendered to God for His blessings and for the successfully completion of yet another remarkable project y BOVAS Group. The Plant is licensed by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) to blend various kinds of products. The operation at the Plant is flexible to accommodate unique requirements of partners and distributors and also boasts of large storages to hold huge volumes of finished products.
The Plant uses state-of-the-art equipment and fitted with standard laboratory to blend the finest oils in the market. The Plant is also fitted with various safety measures and has an independently-operated mini fire services. The Plant boasts of unique and exceptional workforce who ensure all safety and quality controls.
Currently, the plant has a capacity to blend a minimum of 40 million litres per annum in two shits of various lubricant grades. At full capacity, in few years to come, the plant is estimated to produce a minimum of 100 million litres annually for the Nigerian market and markets in the West African sub-region. This laudable project is yet another milestone in the company’s effort at boosting local production of lubricants for the Nigeria market and the West African sub-region.
