Applications: Recommended for heavily loaded diesel engines. It is suitable for engines using distillate fuels with sulphur content up to 1.5%. Can also be used for marine and stationary engines for power generation or off-shore drilling requiring zinc-free oils.

Product Description

BOVAS® Bomarie™ S 40, Zinc-Free Marine Engine Oil (TBN 12, ZN Free) is an advanced and superior marine engine oil formulated to improve piston cleanliness, drastically reduce liner wear, and also boost bearing protection. It meets the requirements of medium-speed and high-speed marine diesel engines, and delivers outstanding performance and protection for engine components. It has excellent detergency properties, making it particularly suitable for use in supercharged engines. Its high polarity provides superior protection of engine parts from attack by moisture and salinity. It has a high level of detergency, anti-foam, anti-corrosion, anti-rust and demulsibility to ensure that engines last long and perform well under extreme conditions.
