He holds a Higher Diploma in Accounting from Lagos State Polytechnics, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Accounting from Imo State University, and an MBA in Financial Management from LAUTECH.

This impressive academic foundation is further bolstered by his professional accreditations as a Chartered Accountant, Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA), and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACTI).

Mr. Taiwo’s journey in finance and accounting began well before joining Bovas in 2016. He has honed his skills through experience in the departments of companies like XMOS Africa Ltd. and Sahara Energy Resources Ltd. His diverse qualifications and extensive experience position him as a valuable asset to the company.

  • Ensures compliance with the financial strategy of the Group.
  • Assisted with the auditing of numerous accounts in one day, as part of a quick audit task.
  • Helped the Group improve its cashflow by analyzing points of losses and suggesting better steps to take.
  • Coordinates external audits and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Manages cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity, Hedges against foreign exchange risk and manages interest rate risk.
  • Prepares consolidated financial statements for the entire company, including intercompany transactions and foreign currency translation.
  • Collaborates with the Audit team to highlight any discrepancies in P&L statements.
  • Oversees the preparation of detailed expense budgets.
  • Analyses budget/actual variances and reviews with department managers and senior managers.
